Received the brackets and pegs in a very timely manner and installed them as soon as I had enough free time. The pegs really help out my wife, who owns the Spyder RS, to have a more relaxed and comfortable stance, especially since she has problems with her right knee.
The install was very painless and took us only a few hours to complete. I ended up removing covers with the Spyder on the ground to allow to turn the wheels, as I only had car ramps to lift the Spyder. Once covers were removed I backed the front of the Spyder on the ramps and set the brake so we could have more room under for the install.
We decided to leave off the bottom engine pan/guards as they are only plastic and don't seem to really serve a purpose other than holding in engine heat.
Everything in the kit was packaged very nicely and neat, and it was very easy to install. I HIGHLY suggest watching the Lamonster install video on Youtube before tackling the job as no instructions were provided with the kit. Even without instructions it is a very simple and straight forward installation. The only confusion I had was which length bolts were needed to mount the bracket extensions and for the pegs to the bracket, which we were able to figure out.
Overall, we are impressed with the fit, function and quality.
The only negatives about this kit were no installation instructions, which really isn't a big deal, and I am not a fan on how the peg mount extensions are held onto the bracket with only one bolt. It is not that big of an issue if you torque them down, but I may end up drilling a second hole to place another bolt or tack welding to ensure they will not loosen up while riding.
I would definitely recommend this kit to friends or other Spyder owners. Good job, Lamonster!
