Our brake rods lower your brake pedal 1 1/2" from the stock potion. So that you can pivot your foot to the pedal without lifting your foot. Which means you will have better control over your bike even in a panic situation.
Order according to your existing foot potion you use on your bike.
We've been modifying brake linkage since 2015 and have many 1000's of miles of testing this mod. We've debated making the brake rod fully adjustable but in the end we decided that was a bad idea when the possibility to install it wrong was a very real issue. We went with a fixed location for this reason. It's as simple as removing your brake linkage and installing ours. These have been tested in the #2, #3, #4 and #5 position. These are the most popular link location. The stock F3 comes in the #3 position.

The end of the video says they will work with stock pegs (our mistake). They don't work well with stock pegs because you can drop the back of your foot lower than you can on a floorboard so the angle is not the same as it would be for the boards.

This was the first upgrade for the F3. I’m tall so it’s a Must have! Looks and feels super premium and drops that brake lever down to make it way more reachable!

Position 3 Brake Rod for Spyder F3
I ordered the brake rod as recommended by a fellow Spyder rider. I am very pleased with this product. It is very easy to install (only two bolts), and 5 minutes tops for installation. It lowers the brake pedal to the perfect height so that I am not flexing my foot up high or lifting my entire foot to brake. With the stock brake rod my foot would sometimes get caught under the pedal causing a dangerous situation. This fixed that issue and just a slight lift of my toe and can shift over to brake without interference. Great Product, I have already recommended it to other riders I know.

Brake rod F3T brake pedal reposition
I put this on my 2024 F3T with pegs. Repositioned the brake pedal to the best spot for my seated position. Havent had.a chance to ride it yet. But just setting still it feels like the right position for me.

I like the new length which lowered the pedal enough that I don't have t raise my foot to utilize the brakes. I now only slide the toes of my foot without lifting it.

Easy straight installation even without instructions. Brake rod construction is excellent. Video online helps. A small sheet of notes and precautions to take will be helpful and may eliminate a bunch of calls that can be eliminated in the office. Like; minimal play between bracket and brake rod after tightening bolts is normal. How about use of threadlok yes or no
