Upgrade the factory headlights on your Can-Am Spyder RT with the LG-9005 9005 LED Headlight Kit. This Lamonster-approved kit includes two 9005 LED bulbs designed as direct replacements for the factory headlight bulbs on compatible North American Spyder RT models.
These LED headlights deliver a cleaner 6500K white light with 4000 lumens per bulb, helping improve nighttime visibility and daytime road presence. The fanless design has no moving parts, uses natural Air Flux Cooling, and helps eliminate fan noise or fan failure concerns.
Each bulb uses a 9005 connector for plug-and-play operation and includes a separate constant-current power regulator. The compact design keeps the bulb no larger than stock while providing instant LED operation, low power draw and no CAN bus codes.

Fab LED head and fog lights!
Installation was pretty straightforward and the video directions were sufficient to do the job. I could have used some directions specific to the fog lights as this job has to be done mostly by feel. In particular I would have liked to know that the fog lights wiring connector had different latches than the headlights. I eventually got one of the bulbs out with the connector still attached and was able to see that the latches are on the ends and are squeezed to release. The left fog light cover is a VERY tight fit and requires quite a bit of finagling to remove it and then get it back into place. (Make sure to lift the bundle of wires running along the inside of the fog light up out of the way to give just that extra wiggle room you will need. Do note that I did not receive to velcro that Lamonster discusses on the video. I used a bit of duct tape to hold the new box to the back of the headlight assembly, but discovered that I had to remove it on the left headlight as this interfered with something at the rear of the light. Lights look great and are much brighter. They are MUCH more noticeable by others on the road and we all know that visibility is always good.

Such A HUGE Value
I cannot believe what I received and how cheap I think they were. The lights come packaged in something you normally see from Apple and the quality of the assembly is top quality. I do have to admit it is not the easiest thing to install due to the Spyder bodywork but the videos give you what you need to know. This is the first time I worked on this bike and I got it done. With not experience plan on at least 1/2 day. Change out the fog lights at the same time (I think that was harder to do). Consider Magic Mirrors at the same time. The Mirrors are hard to snap back on.

Great Lights
The 9005 LED headlights are much better than stock, but like Lamonster says in his video; if you are not acustomed to taking apart your spyder then take it to a professional. The install was fairly easy; however the 10mm screws would not go back in easily at their current length. That was my only hang up on replacing the lights. Can't wait to get it out on the road at night to really see the differnce.

LED head light replacement
I Watched Lamonts video on how to install the headlamps. I found that mounting them on the side of the snap on cover worked best for me . The side toward the center of the bike. The lamps look and work great.

They white and right!
Yea, finally better head lights! Took less than three hours to install start to finish. No power tools, so cheating. The Kelvin temp is great. Now all the lights match in color. Haven't tried out on the road yet but in the yard they look to better output than OEM.

Fantastic lights
Over the last couple of tears I have tried every type of bright headlight-100 watt halogen- hid , these are by far the brightest and unlike the others they do not blind oncoming traffic even though an see further ahead and further to both sides.
