Can-Am Spyder RT Upper Right Radiator Exhaust Block-Off Plate — SPY-111
The Spyderpops SPY-111 Upper Right Radiator Exhaust Block-Off Plate is a simple heat-management upgrade for 2010–2013 Can-Am Spyder RT models. Designed to help keep hot radiator exhaust air away from your right foot and lower leg, this insulated shield improves rider comfort during warm-weather riding, stop-and-go traffic, and longer rides.
Made from black polycarbonate with heat shielding laminated to the inside, this block-off plate installs securely with the included special clip and screw. Installation only takes a few minutes, though the lower floor pan must be removed for access.

Installation Notes
Remove the lower floor pan to access the installation area. Install the block-off plate using the included special clip and screw, making sure the plate is secure before riding.

A must have
After installing the NBV brackets and pegs, it was easy to reel the block off plate was a must have. Made a temendous amount of difference. It's the only way to go.

exhaust blocker
I purchased this for 2013 can am spider , it Was real simple to install , instructions were very easy to follow, took my RT out for a 60 mile ride and it made a tremendous difference felt good not getting my leg hairs singed off.

works great
This is very easy to put on. We've had some hot weather, and it works very well. I got a set of Lamonster highway pegs for Christmas, and when hot weather got here, I knew I needed something to keep the heat off my foot. Without highway pegs, I'm not sure that the top block off would do any real good, but with them, it works great. Well worth the money.

Pretty basic
Should work fine. Instructions were ok. Not great instructions on the floor pan removal. Didn't need to snip anything. Just removed the lower deflector and found the screw I had to remove for the hi way pegs.

COOLER RIDING
From the time I purchased my 2010 Can Am Spyder RT, there was only one problem with it. My right ankle was always hot from the side air vent, so I never gave it a thought to even install highway pegs. Since having installed the pegs and heat shield, my ride is so much more comfortable and my ankle know longer gets hot. This shield is the best ever for a more cooler ride.

REAL RELIEF
The exhaust block is an excellent idea that really works well. It takes very little time to install but the benefit is terrific. I ride in the southwest desert and this block makes riding, already in the heat, much nicer. Great product and worth the small price.

No more heat
This is a great product to make up for the poorly designed radiator location on the earlier Spyder models. I guess the Canadians never thought about what it's like to ride in 90 degree plus days. Easy install, and excellent price.
