Third Pegs for Additional Foot Placement
I purchased these to give myself additional foot placement while touring and for mitigating the jarring on rough roads. I like that I can transition from stretched out to bending my knees and have a resting spot for my feet. I still use the passenger floorboards to mount/dismount, but instead of going to the ground then to the driver/passenger floorboards, these pegs give me a stepping point. They are fixed position, which is fine for me. I weigh on average 235-240 lbs and can attest to how sturdy they are.

Stock caps 3rd pegs
Excellent product. I had been using the passenger pegs for mounting, too awkward to dismount with. The 3rd pegs are perfect for this. Also, I use the driver pegs and 3rd pegs as "floorboards". My heel fits on the 3rd peg, my toe on the driver peg. I also use just the 3rd peg. I have almost stopped using the driver pegs alone, except the right one for braking.

Stock 3rd peg
Exactly what I needed to make mounting and dismounting much easier. Attaching the actual peg to the mount was a bit challenging I had to use a Large Crescent wrench to hold the Kuryakyn foot peg and keep the rubber in the proper position. Maybe the adapter needs flats that a standard size wrench would fit? Other than that Great.
