This replacement pipe is for performance testing & tuning on the Rotax 1330
Add performance and sound to your RT and F3 and drop a few pounds in the process. Sounds good on the RT but sounds fantastic on the F3! You can use the optional baffle with the pipe to quiet it down a bit and add back pressure and torque. We recommend you try it without the baffle if louder is what you're looking for. The baffle provided will tame the sound down a bit but will still have a great exhaust note. You have options and that's a good thing. To install the baffle simply insert the baffle in the spring end of the pipe and mark it for the 1/4" hole you will drill to install the baffle.
There are no instructions with the pipe, simply remove the old pipe and replace with the new performance pipe. We recommend that you let the bike idle for 10 min. or so to let the computer learn the new flow. If you plan to use it on road check with your local and state agencies.

NOTE: For year 2015-2017 F3/F3T/RT the rear mount has been removed as it is not needed for mounting.

Lamonster / Cat Delete, Replacement Pipe
Installation was basically easy. Hardest part is not removing the three springs but putting them back on. I have arthritis in my hands and it was easier to just totally remove the exhaust from the engine and lay it out on my bench to reinstall the springs then put the whole assembly back on the bike. Only small complaint I have is the spring removal/install tool is way to short to get real leverage with. A longer version would have been nice.

Welcome Change
I installed this along with the IPS Rumble exhaust pipe so I can’t comment on how it affects the overall sound with the stock muffler. What I can say is that along with the IPS Rumble exhaust pipe, it turned my quiet RT into a bit of an angry beast. The good news is that it comes with an optional slip-in baffle. So once I inserted that, my angry beast tamed right down. It gave me the best of both worlds: Loud enough to be heard with a nice deep tone, but not too loud to be obnoxious.

Big difference
Live in Louisiana, so this helped get rid of a lot of heat as well as weight. Great construction, high quality, fit perfectly. BUT, while not the fault of LaMonster, putting the top spring back on was a pain. No room to work, can’t see to hook it. Ended up dropping the exhaust pipe up by the engine which gave room to hook the spring. Everything went back together easily after that. Engineers…?

primary muffler replacement pipe
Delivered on time. Fit well. sounds good with the OEM muffler. Not too loud.. Did not use the baffle. Needs a larger hook for the springs.

perfect fit on my 2016 Spyder RTL.. didn't have any problems when installing the pipe with the baffle. even with the top spring went on easily
