Build a compact, adjustable RAM® Mount setup with the RAM-201UA Short Double Socket Arm. This short arm has sockets at both ends to connect two RAM® B Size 1" ball components, making it a useful link between your base and device holder.
The 2" socket-to-socket length keeps your mount setup tight and close to the mounting point while still allowing adjustable positioning. RAM® socket technology gives you a wide range of viewing angles for phones, GPS units, cameras, action cameras, and other mounted accessories.
Made from powder-coated marine-grade aluminum, the RAM-201UA is a durable choice for motorcycles, Can-Am Spyders, Rykers, UTVs, ATVs, cars, trucks, boats, and garage-use mounting setups.

RAM® Double Socket Arm (2") -
I needed this 2" extension for my phone to fit properly on my Triumph Rocket 3. Seems fairly strong but disappointed to find its apparently made of plastic which is why I've marked it down to 4 stars. I also purchased the Ram mount and phone phang holder which are made of milled metal, shame this wasn't made the same way. However, it DOES work well when tightened, but I constantly worry I may overtighten it and crack it one day.

simple and effective
once you have a ball mount thread adapter installed you can easily mount the ram mounts. they adjust easily and give great viewing flexibility. They hold my devices very well.
