Product Description
Upgrade the handling of your 2020+ Can-Am Spyder RT with the BajaRon Anti-Sway Bar Kit. This performance sway bar upgrade is designed to improve stability, reduce body roll, and give your Spyder RT a more planted feel in corners, curves, highway riding, and two-up touring.
The BajaRon sway bar is heavier than the stock RT bar and is sold with billet aluminum links for strength and safety. The improvement is noticeable right away, especially for riders who ride two-up, tour, or want more confidence from the front end of their Spyder.
This kit helps reduce wandering feel and front-end dive in turns, making it one of the most popular handling upgrades for the 2020+ Can-Am Spyder RT platform.
Fits all 2020+ Can-Am Spyder RT models, including RT, RT-S, and RT Limited / RT-LTD. Bar color is now black. Lamonster® links do not require spacers.

BAJARON CAN-AM SPYDER RT SWAY BAR (2020)
I installed the BajaRon Sway Bar on my 2020 Spyder RT Base over the 3/13-14/2021 weekend. I have not had a chance to ride it yet, so I will only comment on the components and installation. The toughest part of the installation is lifting the Spyder. The 2020 RT installation is actually not bad. But you need some real height to get comfortable access to remove the old swaybar and install the BajaRon Bar. I now have an EazyRizer Big Blue Lift which provided me with plenty of room to work on the sway bar. Removal of the old bar is quite easy. There are two plastic panels underneath the front of the Spyder that need to be removed and the front section of the rear plastic panel. This is pretty easy. No side or top panels need to be removed (all good). Removing the standard sway bar is just a matter of removing bolts and parts, also pretty easy. Hard to believe that the stock links are actually plastic. They look like fairly tough plastic, but plastic none the less. The BajaRon Bar appears slightly thicker, but not by much. But the Bajaron Bar Links are metal and appear quite robust. The blocks are larger and made of a more durable material as well. So the Bajaron accessory hardware is a huge improvement over the stock hardware. The only problem I had was installing the blocks in the sway bar channel. I just couldn't get them to squeeze in. So, I called the number on the instructions and Ron himself actually answered! And this was on a Saturday afternoon. He said that the sway bar channels can vary a bit and some are very snug, but the blocks will fit. You may need to gently pry the block against the side of the channel with a flat head screw driver and then tap it (with a small hammer) in in order to gain entrance to the channel. Obvioulsy I didn't want to scratch the channel or do any harm to the blocks, but within minutes I had both blocks in, doing exactly what Ron had suggested. I gently pushed the screwdriver between the channel side and the block while also gently tapping the block with a small hammer - and Bingo, it popped right in. The rest of the installation was pretty simple. The instructions are good. It would be nice of the pictures were larger, but they are pretty easy to follow. And Ron was very helpful. So very good so far. I hope to get out this weekend to see how it handles.

What a difference!
I added this bar about a week after installing the Elka Stage 2 front shocks. I am glad it worked that way so I could feel the difference each of them made. The shocks stiffened the saggy undersprung suspension, and helped prevent the dive into the corners quite a bit. The sway bar finsihes off the handling package by damping the left right movement (ok, sway) you get going through a corner. The bar greatly dampens the tilt and feeling you will be tossed off. My passenger is much more comfortable without the sudden sway of the corner or blast of wind from a passing a truck tilting us. She is more relaxed and deosn't hold such a death grip on the handles. A great improvement. Instructions spot-on too. Easy to do if you follow them exactly. The bar doesn't look that much different, but you can tell right away when you put your foot on the foot "rest" to climb on. It used to tilt towards me, now it stays flat. And flat is how it corners now. Overall average speed on my favorite twisty out of town was the speed limit, where my Motorcycle could keep it ten over easy. I know it seems hard to believe, but I am here to tell you the Spyder is now easy to hold the ten miles over the limit itself, with out too much work leaning. Expensive for a lump of metal, but you get what you pay for, what a nice lump it is. Almost go-kart like. So flat you just corner smoothly and stay on line. With the shocks, I can't discount how much they helped too, a huge improvement with just them. The bar works great with them. it is a package. Great additon. Rear Stage 2 Shock next. I will review it here (LAMonster) too. Don

sway bar for 20' RTL
I rode 1500 miles over various types of road surfaces and on highway with heavy traffic. Got some wind buffing from semi's. After installing the swaybar the bike really felt rock solid against buffing wind from traffic. Good choice for upgrading your spyders handling capabilities.
