Can-Am Spyder RT Upper Right Radiator Exhaust Block-Off Plate — SPY-111
The Spyderpops SPY-111 Upper Right Radiator Exhaust Block-Off Plate is a simple heat-management upgrade for 2010–2013 Can-Am Spyder RT models. Designed to help keep hot radiator exhaust air away from your right foot and lower leg, this insulated shield improves rider comfort during warm-weather riding, stop-and-go traffic, and longer rides.
Made from black polycarbonate with heat shielding laminated to the inside, this block-off plate installs securely with the included special clip and screw. Installation only takes a few minutes, though the lower floor pan must be removed for access.

Installation Notes
Remove the lower floor pan to access the installation area. Install the block-off plate using the included special clip and screw, making sure the plate is secure before riding.

Much improved head deflection
This deflector plate does a great job at pushing the hot air down below your right foot (instead of on your lower leg). Much needed if you ever ride in shorts. No problems seen with vehicle overheating.

Heat Shield
Best mod I have added. Very easy to install and really makes it nice in hot weather. Did not notice any difference in operating temperature.

One of the best mods I’ve installed. B The bike was almost unrideable in the warmer weather. Now it’s a joy to ride.

Heat shield kit for my 2012 RTS
Got this kit mounted in a small hour thanks to the very good and easy instructions that was included. Perfect fit and appearance. My right foot will be way more comfy next summer I am sure.

The kit is well designed and performs as advertised
The reason I voted average: the 3M promoter did not have any liquid in it when crushed. When I removed outer cover I found the contents crystallized. Installed block-off plate without promoter
