K&N® Recharger® Filter Care Service Kit Aerosol — 99-5000
The K&N® Recharger® Filter Care Service Kit 99-5000 is designed to clean, restore, and re-oil K&N® oiled cotton air filters. This service kit is the proper maintenance companion for washable K&N® performance air filters, helping remove dirt, old filter oil, and filter-clogging debris so your filter can keep doing its job.
The kit includes a 12 oz spray bottle of POWER KLEEN® industrial-strength cleaner/degreaser and a 6.5 oz aerosol can of red K&N® air filter oil. POWER KLEEN® helps dissolve buildup so it can be rinsed away with water, while the included filter oil is designed to remain suspended in the pleats of the cotton filter media to help capture contaminants.

- Automotive K&N® oiled cotton air filters
NOTE: This kit is for K&N® oiled cotton air filters. It is not intended for dry media filters or disposable paper air filters.

Installation / Service Notes
Use the included POWER KLEEN® to clean the filter according to K&N® instructions, rinse with water, and allow the filter to dry completely. After the filter is dry, apply the included red aerosol air filter oil evenly to the cotton filter media. Do not reinstall the filter until it has been properly cleaned, dried, and oiled per the included instructions.
