MOTOPUMPS® Security Lock for Garmin zūmo XT, XT2, XT3 & Tread2 — ZXT-SL
The MOTOPUMPS® Security Lock is a compact, lightweight security upgrade for Garmin zūmo XT, XT2, XT3, and Tread2 GPS units. Designed to install between the Garmin powered cradle and your motorcycle GPS mount, this lock helps protect your GPS investment by preventing the cradle release plunger from being depressed when the unit is locked in place.
The billet aluminum lock plate is thin enough to re-use the stock mounting hardware included with your GPS mount, while the 304 stainless steel security pin locks the GPS into the powered cradle using the included proprietary security key. It installs in minutes and works with GPS mounts compatible with the Garmin zūmo XT powered motorcycle AMPS pattern base.

Installation
Install the MOTOPUMPS® Security Lock between the Garmin powered cradle and your motorcycle GPS mount. Once installed, a few quick turns of the 304 stainless steel security pin with the included proprietary key lock or unlock the GPS from the powered cradle.

Easily the best option
The "super mount" option is too rich for my blood, sorry touratech. And most other options i've looked into are either cringeworthy or poor quality. This little number is so simple & cost effective it makes your headhurt. but its Super Effective. Takes the stress out of makin a bathroom pitstop, and is almost unnoticeable. I still wouldn't leave it for longer than a gas stop, but this will easily defeat a basic "walkup & yank". If only i could snap a photo whenever the lock is engaged...
