Missing Belt Guard for Can-Am Spyder RT 1330 — SPY-149
The Missing Belt Guard is a smart protection upgrade for 2014–present Can-Am Spyder RT models with the 1330 engine. This guard helps protect the drive belt from stones, gravel, and road debris that can get between the belt and rear sprocket, potentially causing expensive damage that may not be covered under warranty.
This special belt guard attaches to the left swing arm and helps block debris before it reaches the drive belt and sprocket area. It is made from black polycarbonate, giving it the thin, lightweight, strong, and durable design needed for the tight clearance between the tire and belt.

Missing Belt Guard
Kit is very easy to use and install. Solid instructions. The pair of capture nuts provided make attachment of the trim much easier. I have much greater peace of mind now knowing I have better protection from stones.

While most of us don't aspire to go "off-roading" with our Can Am Spyders, having this on your ride is just that little extra peace of mind when you do turn off the highway into that gravel parking lot, etc. Easy install and trust it so much that have put it on BOTH of our Spyders... 2016 Can Am Spyder RT Limited and 2023 Can Am Spyder RT Sea-to-Sky. missing belt guard
only 4stars. i think it could be mounted with industrial strength velcro a whole lot easier job…. and think it would’ve as strong a mount. if i ever do another or have to take mine off it will be r mounted that way. much easier to position.

We live off a 1 mile long gravel road and have been using belt guards on our Spyders for many years now. Never any issues or downtime since.

I had this on my 2014 Spyder RT Limited and ordered another for my 2023 Spyder RT Sea to Sky. I have a mile and one half of gravel road to transverse every day coming and going from my house. My belt on the 2014 still looked like new when I sold it. Comparatively, my brother's RT Limited belt had to be replaced due to 24 cogs missing. He visits me a lot and this is the only gravel he goes on! Great investment, saves belts and sprockets.

can am spyder rt missing belt guard
This is a part that you really do not even know it is there, however I have not noticed as many rocks being kicked up and banging against the rear differential as I did before the install. Saftey is cheap insurance against belt failures. Well worth the money for the peace of mind.

Missing belt guard
Bought this for my 2015 RT Special series. It was a bit of an effort to fit initially as the back tyre is a car tyre. However, once I had it sorted out it was well worth the effort. Very happy with the product.

A little more difficult to install, when backing nuts can't be reached.
