The Missing Belt Guard is a smart protection upgrade for 2014–present Can-Am Spyder RT models with the 1330 engine. This guard helps protect the drive belt from stones, gravel, and road debris that can get between the belt and rear sprocket, potentially causing expensive damage that may not be covered under warranty.
This special belt guard attaches to the left swing arm and helps block debris before it reaches the drive belt and sprocket area. It is made from black polycarbonate, giving it the thin, lightweight, strong, and durable design needed for the tight clearance between the tire and belt.

Missing belt guard
Bought this for my 2015 RT Special series. It was a bit of an effort to fit initially as the back tyre is a car tyre. However, once I had it sorted out it was well worth the effort. Very happy with the product.

A little more difficult to install, when backing nuts can't be reached.

Missing Belt Guard
Finally took everyone’s advice and got this for my 2019 RT since I frequently take it on packed dirt and gravelly roads. It’s easy to install. Hardest part is getting the back nuts off, but if you use the mini ratchet LaMonster sells, easy!

A little tricky to get in. The promoter makes for an instant bond, so it has to be lined up perfectly at the start. It can't be adjusted. But bonds well.

It is a well designed/engineered piece of gear that provides a valuable protection.
It is a PITA to install as the access is tight.

Spyder Belt Guard
Installed yesterday, so haven't ridden yet. Product fits well, although lifting the back wheel really helps installation. Found a helpful YouTube titled Missing Belt Guard that was also helpful.
