The Stage 4 rear shock gives you key tuning control with low-speed compression, rebound, and spring preload adjustment. This makes it a strong choice for Canyon riders who want improved rear stability, better ride control, and more confidence during touring, two-up riding, loaded travel, rough roads, curves, and spirited riding.
Elka® Stage 4 shocks are designed for riders who want high-performance shock technology in a package that is still accessible and easy to use. Stage 4 uses a single external compression adjustment knob for low-speed compression damping, combined with an internal high-speed blow-off circuit for a controlled ride that remains compliant over bumps and uneven road surfaces.
This is the non-HYD Stage 4 rear shock. Choose the Stage 4 HYD version if you want remote hydraulic preload adjustment for easier changes between solo riding, passenger riding, and loaded touring.
