Elka rear shock
Huge improvement in the overall ride. I have had the Elka front suspension for a year or so and adding the rear shock finished the ride improvement. Happy camper here!

Elko Stage 2 Rear Shock
My Spyder is a ‘22 RTL. This rear shock was installed along with Elko stage 2 front shocks. My Spyder already had a Baja Ron Sway Bar (not their Ultimate model). I was also pleased that I ordered the sway bar. I am very pleased with my rear shock purchase & LaMonster Garage’s shock settings they based on my weight & riding style (I am a large man & my riding style I described my style as sport touring). I also purchased the rear shock after asking a couple of owners on bulletin boards with both front & rear Elko Shocks why they replaced their rear shocks. I also asked the staff member taking my phone order @ LaMonster Garage why adding a Elko rear shock would be desirable. He was very knowledgeable & the information he gave me sold me on also ordering the Elko rear shock (I ordered all 3 shocks). I was planning on only buying the front shocks. Like my past LaMonster orders, this order shipped the day I placed my ordered & it arrived very quickly. I am very pleased with my purchase of my Elko stage 2 rear shock. I kept the settings LaMonster set up for me on this shock. If you buy these Elko shocks I strongly suggest that you don’t change their shock settings without 1st talking to LaMonster garage. With both preload & damping settings it would be easy to get them set up wrong. My Spyder feels much more planted and connected to the roadway. The difference is very obvious & dramatic. I no longer have to make small steering corrections as I ride through tight corners at highway speeds. Cornering is now closer to how it felt on 2 wheels. Unfortunately I do not know what new positive characteristics are more attributable to my new Elko stage 2 front shocks or my rear shock. I realize that these Elko shocks are expensive but the change in my Spyder’s cornering is obvious & dramatic. I do NOT regret my purchase.

Great product, fairly easy install.
Great product by Elka. I have stage ll on the front and rear of my Spyder RT-S. A huge difference over the stock shocks. These are a must have upgrade especially if you ride 2 up.

Front and rear Elka Shocks
I have been wanting these since I bought by RTL new in 2020 but the price held me back. BIG mistake on my part. If you are thinking about taking the plunge, do it. By far the best upgrade I have ever done. They gave me more ground clearance and improved handling. I was able to install myself (although the top bolt on the rear was a bit of a pain).

Ella rear shock
Bike rides smoothly now seem rear tire is planted more firmly 2 up riding , 2015 RTL with front Ella’s B-Ron sway bar and auto tires all around rides and handles way better than stock

Finally, the weather improved, so I took my bike out today. I loved the new rear shock.
I have a 2014 Can-Am Spyder motorcycle that needed the front and rear shocks replaced. Best investment I've made.

Elka shocks
The stock shocks were not up to the task of controlling the suspension. I have had my RTS for 5 years and only have 7000 miles. I was fearful of riding it and when I did it wore me out. I have ridden 2 wheels for over 60 years and 20 years of snow mobile experience. Putting all 3 elka shocks on made a great improvement even my wife commented on the ride.

Elka rear suspension upgrade
Now that I have the front sway bar in Elka front suspension and last but not least the rear Elka in this spyder is a complete different machine and would recommend it to anyone as your whole ride is transformed when you do these upgrades .I feel much more in control going both in and out of corners and am getting the same reaction from my partner on the back So on that note well worth the spend . Only bad thing I could say is the shipping cost to New Zealand but I put that down to the covid world we now live in . Thanks Guys and my partner likes the wee sweet surprises in your parcel .

elka stage 2 rear shock for rt
the cost of shock was more then replacing compresser and bag. but glad i went with shock i thought with upgraded sway bay it handled good in curves now its even better. its like on rails on the curves. plus smooth ride worth the cost.
